Welcome to ono. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them — especially the community rules, which we enforce to keep ono safe and fun for everyone.
1. Who can use ono
You must be at least 13 years old to use ono. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Don't impersonate others or use a username that's misleading or offensive. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.
3. Content you contribute
ono lets you add photos, dishes, tips, and profile details ("user content"). You keep ownership of your content, but you grant ono a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share it within the app so the service can function. You're responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to share it.
4. Community rules — zero tolerance for objectionable content
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on ono. When you contribute content or interact with others, you agree not to post or do any of the following:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or hateful content targeting any person or group.
- Sexually explicit, obscene, or violent material.
- Spam, scams, false or deliberately misleading information.
- Content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or violates anyone's privacy.
- Impersonation of another person or business.
- Anything unrelated to food, spots, or the purpose of the app, posted to disrupt the community.
This requirement is a condition of using ono. Content or accounts that violate it may be removed or terminated.
5. Reporting, blocking, and moderation
Every piece of user content can be reported in the app, and you can block any user to hide their content from you. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them — removing offending content and ejecting users who post it within 24 hours where warranted. We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion to enforce these Terms, with or without notice.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app — including attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to ono or its systems, scraping data, or submitting false visit or location information to game badges and leaderboards.
7. Restaurant and third-party information
ono displays information about restaurants and places sourced from third parties (including Google Maps & Places) and from our community. Hours, locations, menus, and other details may be inaccurate or out of date. Always confirm with the business directly. ono is an independent guide and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the spots it lists.
8. Disclaimers
ono is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information in it is accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ono and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on information in it or interactions with other users.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide notice in the app. Continuing to use ono after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using ono and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or the community rules.
