Frequently asked

How do I log a visit?

Open a spot and tap "I ate here." ono checks that you're at the restaurant (within ~150 m) and lets you add a photo of your plate as proof. Your visits build your collection, badges, and rank.

It says I'm too far away to log a visit.

Visits can only be logged when you're actually at the spot — that's what keeps the leaderboard fair. Make sure location access is enabled for ono in your device settings, and try again once you've arrived.

Why does ono ask for my location?

Only to confirm you're at a restaurant when you log a visit. ono never tracks your location in the background, and never when you're just browsing.

How do I add or change my photo?

Tap the camera on a spot to add a community photo, or your profile avatar to update your picture. You can grant camera or photo-library access when prompted.

How do I report or block someone?

Tap the flag icon on any photo, tip, dish, or profile to report it, or open a user's profile and tap Block to hide their content from you. We review reports within 24 hours and remove anything that breaks our community rules.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile and progress and can't be undone.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, enter your email and tap "Forgot password?" — we'll email you a reset link.

The hours or details for a spot are wrong.

Some restaurant info comes from third-party sources and can be out of date. Email us at hello@onofoodapp.com with the spot and the correction, or suggest an edit from within the app, and we'll fix it.
